Nate’s Journalism Career

Nate Harrington has worked across several professional newsrooms, most recently at The Berkshire Eagle.

At The Berkshire Eagle, Harrington covers housing for the paper, reporting on affordability issues and new housing developments, breaking down housing regulations and highlighting market-rate construction. In Berkshire County, there is a dearth of housing and, before a statewide 2024 push to produce housing, limited projects in the pipeline.

Before working for The Eagle, Harrington worked as a Dow Jones News Fund intern for WHYY, focusing on data deep dives and human interest stories, and for syracuse.com as a data intern.

Harrington also reported as an undergrad, reporting for TheNewsHouse and a spattering of other publications.
